The Ba/F3 cell line is mouse pro-B cell requiring interleukin-3 (mIL3) for survival and proliferation.  Ba/F3 cells may grow without mIL3 while the Ba/F3 cell line transduced and transformed by an oncogene.  Therefore, the Ba/F3 cell line has been a popular system to evaluate oncogenicity of genes and mutations, and efficacies of targeted drugs.

Biosettia have established a workflow including cloning the genes of interest and mutants, generating lentiviruses and stable lines, mIL3 withdrawal to confirm the oncogenicity and drug screening.

Reporter Cell Lines

We help customers to design and generate reporter cell lines by lentiviral transductions to study for example receptor agonist/antagonists, signal transduction activators/inhibitors, cytotoxicity, and gene regulation.
